A ‘sneak peak’, and an invitation to join us!

Many of you will have seen an email in your inbox this morning, notifying you of a new blog post! Apologies! This was sent in error, but if you managed to glimpse the content, let’s think of it as a sneak peak of what’s to come!

As we inch closer to Praying for Children week, we invite you to join us, as we prepare to reflect on that beautiful passage from Matthew, that calls us to have a child-like faith.

We have developed a number of worship resources, including a Call to Worship, Prayer, Scripture and activities. We encourage churches across Aotearoa to include some, or all of these elements, in their service for Sunday, August 21st, as a way of ‘kicking off’ Praying for Children week for their faith community. There is also a bookmark available to download, that you may choose to hand out to church-goers, to encourage them to join us in this journey of praying and reflecting together!

Each day during Praying for Children week, you will receive a blog post via email, inviting you to reflect on the day’s theme, and a prayer to guide you. There will also be links to further resources and tools to help you engage in, and reflect on, each theme.

We really look forward to Praying for Children week 2022, and hope that you are blessed by the resources we have put together! Check out the website for more ideas: https://nzprayingforchildren.org/praying-for-children-2022/

Blessings,
The Praying for Children team
